BJMC & Environment

BJMC attaches much importance to ensure healthy working environment in every sphere of its activities. Its Head Office housed in the buildings of Annex-1 & 2 of the Adamjee Court, 115-120/Motijheel C/A, Dhaka-1000 and the Karim Chamber, 99/Motijheel C/A, Dhaka-1000. Every floor occupied by the BJMC is well decorated with required rooms, furniture and equipments for the officials.

All the Departments under respective BJMC Directorates discharge their responsibilities, which includes looking after the activities of the jute mills controlled by the organization. All the officers and employees perform their jobs here in the cordial atmosphere invigorated with team spirit. They are aware of the mission and vision of the organization and dedicated to achieve them.

The jute mills under the BJMC are located at different places around the country. They are grouped under three BJMC Zonal Offices situated at Dhaka, Chittagong and Khulna. The Zonal Offices mainly coordinates with the BJMC Head Office and the Jute mills under them.

Each and every Jute mills under the organization is located at the important places in different districts having  good communication and transportation facilities. They are well maintained with all necessary infrastructures, machineries, workforce and equipments.

The working environment of the jute mills is also healthy. The compound of every jute mills includes the Factory Building, Office Building for different departments, Residential Buildings, Primary Medical Treatment Centre, Mosque, School, Club, Subsidized Restaurant, Playground and the huge number of various plants and trees.
